After 2 weeks traveling through the US, the Mobile Fab Lab stops at Boston. Schedule issues, and some technical improvements to be done, had been the reasons to finish the first season of the trip. The goal is, still, to bring this Mobile Lab to the South Bronx in NY, where it is going to be held during 6 months or a year in order to reproduce itself and give this power of materialization to the SB people. New projects will come, there are infinite possibilities for this Lab, meanwhile, for those that are impatient, you can check the Fab Central and Fab Folk web pages for latest news and events.

On the road to Oklahoma

We are now in Provo, Utah. We just came back from Nevada to Salt Lake City on the 80th again. Now we are pointing to Tulsa. Oklahoma. We will be there a few days doing projects and digital fabrication in a big scale.

Burning Man Fab Projects

The fab lab has been a real issue in the Burning Man 07. Almost every one that pass by the trailer just stop to see what is going on in there. We had visitors wiht different profiles, ideas and dreams to be built. From Labyrinths to Necklaces, the workshop doesn´t stop, last two days have been 24h work.
Today we are leaving Burning Man, many friends, art and good vibes we are taking with us in the trailer, maybe we will need more space...

The trailer has been created amazing expectations to the people, we had have several visitors during the day, good vibes. We moved to 6E, finally some one could find a generator for us, now the settings to run the Shop Bot and the entire lab have been improved.
Today the Man is going to be Burned.
